The 2010 Peach State Basketball May Day Challenge is quickly becoming the south's premier tournament in the month of May. This is a perfect chance for travel teams to celebrate the start of summer in a highly competitive atmosphere. The May Day Challenge is designed to provide travel teams and their players an opportunity to play great competition, be evaluated by the JumpOffPlus.com staff and possibly receive invitations to either the NCAA-certified 2011 Peach State Fab Five Camp (July 6 & 7) or Jr. Fab Five Camp (July 7 & 8).

Tournament Playing Rules

1. Each team will play a guaranteed three games.
2. National High School Federation rules will be followed with the few exceptions listed below.
3. Each player will be allowed a total of six (6) fouls before being disqualified.
4. All games will be played in two (2) sixteen (16) minute stop-clock halves.
5. The first overtime period will be sudden death. The first team to score a point wins the game.
6. There will be a three (3) minute rest period between halves.
7. Teams will be allowed to call two (2) full time-outs and two (2) thirty second time-out during the regulation game.
8. There will be a minimum of a five (5) minute warm-up period between games.
9. All teams are expected to arrive for games 45 min prior to the scheduled start times. A five-minute grace period will be allowed before a forfeit is declared. If any team is knowingly unable to make their scheduled game, they must notify the Tournament Director in advance.
10. Coaches must enter their team roster (number and last name) in the book before each game.
11. Bonus (1 & 1) will begin on the 10th foul. However, there is no double bonus.

What: This Invitation Only tournament is for 32 of the southeast's top travel teams.
Format: Travel teams will play in one of four eight team brackets while competing for the Tipoff Classic Championship.
When: Wed July 6th – Games 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Thurs July 7th – Games 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Where: Georgia Tech CRC - 750 Ferst Drive - Atlanta, GA

College Coaches Packets: All college coach packets will be $75.00 per coach and be available at 8:30 am on the 6th.
