At Peach State Basketball, Inc. our commitment to the growth of the girls grassroots game is not limited to the travel season. For that reason, in 2007 we decided to create the Battle of the Southeast. This invitation-only shootout is designed for elite high school teams to compete during the high school season each year. Our aim for the Battle of the Southeast is to match up top flight school teams that should advance deep into the state tournament. We have had numerous state championship teams come through the event on their way to winning the title including: Bishop McGuinness (NC), Buford (GA), Hoover (AL), Norcross (GA), Southwest Dekalb (GA) and Wesleyan (GA). Participating teams will have a chance to square off against a quality opponent in addition to players and coaches alike benefitting from the media coverage and college coach exposure we expect for the shootout.
