The 2011 Peach State Basketball Tip-Off Classic will showcase some of the premier travel teams from across the country. Our events are designed to guarantee every player in attendance a legitmate opportunity to play in front of the college coaches in attendance.

The 2011 Peach State Elite 100 Showcase will be held directly after the Tip-Off Classic on Sunday afternoon. The Showcase is an opportunity for players from eighth grade to unsigned seniors from throughout the region to play in front of NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and junior college coaches. All individuals who engage in coaching activities at an NCAA-certified basketball event must be approved through the NCAA Coaches' Approval Process. The approval process consists of an application, criminal background verification, an authorization for release of information and an NCAA rules educational component. The entire process must be completed online and can be accessed through the following link: https://screening.lexisnexis.com/eventcheck/ncaa/

Tournament Playing Rules

1. Each team will play a guaranteed three games.
2. National High School Federation rules will be followed with the few exceptions listed below.
3. Each player will be allowed a total of six (6) fouls before being disqualified.
4. All games will be played in two (2) sixteen (16) minute stop-clock halves.
5. The first overtime period will be sudden death. The first team to score a point wins the game.
6. There will be a three (3) minute rest period between halves.
7. Teams will be allowed to call two (2) full time-outs and two (2) thirty second time-out during the regulation game.
8. There will be a minimum of a five (5) minute warm-up period between games.
9. All teams are expected to arrive for games 45 min prior to the scheduled start times. A five-minute grace period will be allowed before a forfeit is declared. If any team is knowingly unable to make their scheduled game, they must notify the Tournament Director in advance.
10. Coaches must enter their team roster (number and last name) in the book before each game.
11. Bonus (1 & 1) will begin on the 10th foul. However, there is no double bonus.

What: An event to kickoff the spring/summer season for travel teams from throughout the southeast. It's a great opportunity to play in front of 100+ college coaches against some of the best travel teams from around the region.
Format: 120 travel teams will compete in 15 eight-team divisions in the April NCAA Evaluation Period.
When: Fri April 15thth - Games 12:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Sat April 16thth - Games 8:00 am - 11:00 pm
Sun April 17thth - Games 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
